Executive Director - Women's Resources of Kawartha Lakes
Salary Range: $99,008 - $115, 625
Women’s Resources of Kawartha Lakes is seeking a new Executive Director, someone with the skills and personal attributes to continue its 30-year legacy of working with the community to provide services and supports to abused women and their children and to find opportunities to end violence against women.
As Executive Director, accountable to a Board of Directors, you are responsible to ensure the fulfilment of the organization’s mission through effective strategic and operational leadership of its programs, staff and volunteers, and to foster close community partnerships.
The position requires a highly credible and committed leader able to drive the organization forward by the ability to envision and implement an unclouded vision, lead change, build positive working relationships and inspire a team committed to supporting women emerging from abusive situations. The incumbent exemplifies a feminist, anti-oppression, anti-racist perspective based on an integrated understanding of gender-based violence against women and is able to contribute positively to local and systemic changes across the broader community.
