Salary: $52,000-$57,000 Per Annum Plus Benefits

As the National Volunteer Engagement Coordinator, you will lead efforts to expand and sustain a robust national volunteer program. From recruiting and training to stewarding and supervising volunteers, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to build a dynamic and engaged volunteer base. Collaborating with field operations, corporate partners, and community groups, you will ensure that every volunteer interaction is meaningful and impactful.
Your Impact:
- Recruit, screen, train, and supervise volunteers as the program grows nationally.
- Build and maintain an active roster of community-based volunteers in key markets to support organizational goals.
- Act as the main liaison between field operations staff and volunteers, ensuring smooth coordination and satisfaction.
- Plan and execute volunteer logistics for national events, community activities, and corporate engagement initiatives.
- Lead volunteer appreciation efforts, including National Volunteer Week activities and special events.
- Maintain accurate records in Raiser’s Edge, contributing to reports on volunteer hours, program outcomes, and KPIs.
- Evaluate the Volunteer Program regularly for efficiency and growth opportunities, supporting strategic planning initiatives.

- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced with Raiser’s Edge (or similar CRM).
- Bilingual: Fluency in English and French is a strong asset.
- A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the not-for-profit sector, with volunteer services programs, special events programs and their management and administration.
- Post-secondary education and/or experience in volunteer management, human resources, social work, or similar field is preferred.
