About this position
Summary
Bridget’s Bunnies Pregnancy and Infant Loss Foundation works to ensure no one endures pregnancy or infant loss alone. Founded in 2018 and operating out of Barrie, ON, our focus is on ensuring timely and equal access to our comfort kit program within Simcoe-Muskoka, West Parry Sound. We also provide support to those experiencing pregnancy or infant loss in our region through our annual event, Bridget’s Run, our Little Loss Library program, and the resources available through our website.
Scope of Work

Facilitate Board Retreat and Visioning Session on-site.

Engage stakeholders to develop a sustainable and inclusive governance strategy to optimize organizational structure, roles, and responsibilities of board members, volunteers, and staff.

Assist in creation of policies and procedures relating to Board, staff, and volunteers.

Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while promoting transparency, accountability, and ethical practices within the organization.

Train members of the Board on governance strategy and ensure sustainability through knowledge transfer back to organization.
Requirements

Demonstrated experience in developing sustainability plans and strategies for small nonprofit organizations, preferably in the charitable sector.

Expertise in nonprofit governance with a proven track record of successful implementation.

Ability to tailor strategies to meet the unique needs and mission of Bridget's Bunnies, including understanding of issues related to pregnancy and infant loss advocacy and support.

Strong project management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and deliverables within budget constraints.

Commitment to collaboration, transparency, and inclusivity in working with Bridget's Bunnies' team and stakeholders.
