Full Stack Developer

About this position

The Senior Specialist, Application & Development is responsible for providing technical and leadership expertise in the design, development and support of enterprise and web applications used by the Foundation. In addition, The Senior Specialist is required to work within project teams and lead some projects that include application development and IT support functions

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

• Design, develop and implement Microsoft.Net based applications including application architecture, database modeling, web services and integration.
• Support SQL Server 2008 and 2012 based solutions for importing and exporting of data, reporting and integration of online applications.
• Design solutions that provide operational efficiency, security, automation and application integration.
• Work with vendors and information technology teams to ensure that performance of servers and applications are maintained and improved over time.
• Ability to understand and document business requirements and translate these into technical requirements.
• Design solutions that provide high degree of customer self-service through the web.
• Responsible for evaluation of technologies and integration of vendor provided technologies with custom built applications.
• Work independently, with teams and vendors to manage projects and deliverables.
• Provide troubleshooting and problem solving support for database and application issues.
• Other general duties assigned

• University degree in Computer Science/related discipline
• 5 + years plus  experience in using all versions of the .NET framework and database application development
• Strong knowledge and solid experience in SQL 2008 and 2012
• Strong analytical skills – business and technical
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Exceptional organizational, problem solving and time management skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
