About this position

The Manager, Public Relations is actively involved with creating the public presence of Kids Help Phone. This position is responsible for creating and delivering content and building ongoing relationships with key reputational stakeholders of Kids Help Phone. These stakeholders include media, government, spokespeople, staff, volunteers, online communities and vendors.
 
This position is also responsible for monitoring, measuring, evaluating and reporting on the impact of public relations activities to the Director, Public Relations and directly supervises the Communications Coordinator.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
Preference will be shown for candidates with:
• Related post-secondary degree or equivalent education and experience in journalism, communications or a related field
• Designation in public relations 
• Approximately five years of experience in the management and/or execution of public and media relations programs, offline and online or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience establishing and/or working within established brand and visual standards
• Competency in English and French 
• Demonstrated experience in communications project management and evaluation
